Every now and then I am humbled by the work and talent that goes in to hand cutting and carving semi-precious gemstone beads. These extraordinary Fluorite 3 pc sets are a perfect example and shows how semi-precious gems are worth so much more than just ordinary man-made beads.
Each of these sets is utterly unique. No two sets have the same pattern. Some sets are primarily yellow and green, some have more purple and stripes. Some are more drop shape, some marquis, some more like leaves. The carving is certainly suggestive of leaves, pine cones, flowers and more generally, nature.
Each set has one larger focal and two slightly smaller beads as well. The measurements vary from set to set, but are around 29x13mm to 35x15mm and 23x14mm to 26x14mm, dependent on the shape of the beads.
