Sardonyx is such a beautiful and interesting stone to look at. At first glance it seems to be black with white markings, but on closer inspection is more of a dark brown with sections that are clear enough to see through.
The glossy plain ovals are large, each measuring in the region of 14x12mm to 19x15mm. There are around 23 beads on a strand.
